Image → Palette

Upload or paste an image to extract its dominant colors, see each one’s share, and find which color pairs pass WCAG contrast. Runs in your browser.

What it does

  • Dominant colors via k-means clustering, with the share of the image each one covers
  • Contrast of every extracted color against white and black text
  • A full contrast matrix and the color pairs that pass AA
  • Copy as CSS variables or open a color in the palette generator

FAQ

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is read and analyzed on a canvas in your browser; it never leaves your device.

How many colors can I extract?

Between 4 and 10. Near-duplicate colors are merged so the palette stays useful.
