Spec Sheet

Turn any component into a developer-ready spec: props, variants, anatomy, spacing redlines and tokens.

What it does

Spec Sheet reads a component, a component set or any instance of one and collects what a developer asks for: every property with its type, default and options, every variant with its size, the numbered parts, the auto layout (padding, gap, alignment, sizing, radius, stroke) and every variable and style the component uses, with resolved values.

It also lists the colors, sizes and spacing that are still hard-coded, so the spec doubles as a token audit. Draw the spec board next to the component with the sections you want, run it again after a change to update the board in place, or copy everything as Markdown or JSON. In Dev Mode it reads and copies without changing the file.

  1. Every property, typed

Variants, booleans, text and swaps, with defaults and options.

  2. Anatomy, numbered

Each part with its kind, the component it uses and its size.

  3. Tokens, and what is not one yet

Variables and styles with values, plus hard-coded leftovers.

  4. Spacing a developer can copy

Padding, gap, alignment, sizing, radius and stroke.
