Copy Lint

Lint the words in your designs: case, dashes, quotes, your glossary, placeholders and vague links, fixed in one click.

What it does

Copy Lint reads every visible text in the selection, the page or the whole file and checks it against writing rules: long dashes, double spaces, straight or curly quotes, ellipses, repeated words, too many exclamation marks, text typed in capitals, sentence or title case on labels, your terminology (use Sign in, not Log in), words to avoid, lorem ipsum and placeholders, vague link text like click here, button labels that run long and the same label written two ways.

Most issues fix in one click, or all at once. Fixes are applied edit by edit, so a bold word or a link in the middle of a sentence keeps its style. Ignore a single match or a whole rule on a text, keep names capitalized, and save the rules and glossary in the file so everyone lints the same way. Export the report as Markdown or CSV.
